In the aftermath of contentious discussion between the Army Corp of Engineers, various opposing states interests, farmers vs cities, environmentalist vs agriculture, state flood plain managers with serious questions about strategy...plans are slowly starting to form for resolution of at least some of the issues surrounding the forward motion of river taming efforts begun in 1927 which grew more sophisticated and complex over many decades, finally culminating with the blowing of levees during  the floods of 2011 ...to save some areas at the expense of others...a sad and signal event which left almost no-one satisfied.
