Wali Karzai's death is a huge propaganda victory for the Taliban. 

While he was killed by one of his own bodygyards, who was then killed by others present, the Taliban will take credit for a " victory ".

Wali was on the Taliban's assassination list.  They will claim the bodyguard as one of their agents.
